History:
Prajad Drake was born in Bombay, but emigrated to London while still an infant. Despite his lower-class upbringing, Prajad stood out as a rare intellectual talent. Adapting his street smarts and smooth demeanor to academia, he became one of the best investigative reporters in England.
Whether in politicians, CEOs, or the police, no corruption was safe from Prajad's inquisitive eyes and fearless pen. However, Drake bit off more than he could chew when he followed a particular MP suspected of murder. While following the politician's "off-record" activities, Drake uncovered a secret society, existing throughout the world, in which the rich and powerful hunted human beings, among any number of other deviations and atrocities.
Drake would have been killed upon uncovering their secret, but he was pulled from the lion's den when he discovered that the MP had been in the pocket of UNITAS. Impressed by his investigative ability, Drake was inducted into the fold of UNITAS' espionage division.
Although he personally dislikes the cryptic and ambiguous nature of UNITAS, he has still made use of their resources and training to advance from a simple gumshoe to a forceful shadow of truth.
