LSPY characters renewed. 2 posts Tags: NONE

So, since we are making the option available to port our old LSPY characters into the new Spymaster, this is probably a moot point. I was thinking that it would be fun to make part of the new organization run by some of our 'retired' characters who, having given up the chaotic life of an agent, are now at the Desk Job/Control levels of the organization. For example, Whitefire probably won't be seeing much more LSpy games if I'm running, but it'll give me a chance to make some new fun characters to run whenever, so I could easily have him be a Control for a mission, etc.

Fun cameos like that would make me smile at least even if they are just glossed over by new players and such, but after time, we could create some mythos for them all or something. Just an idea. Lemme know what everyone thinks/if you have any characters that we could use to start fleshing out the agency a little more.

We actually have a rule covering this contingency (thought not written down). Any time an author wants to write a PC into canon (i.e. missions or background), they are welcome to do so, but the PC just has to be retired, permanently :)

This goes for Wyrmstone as well.

Once we get the agency named (everybody go submit a name! or five!) we'll flesh into the allied organizations. Once that happens and gets posted, and missions start to get written, a canon of people and places will start to develop, and old LSpy characters can totally be included in that (under the retirement proviso already mentioned). After all, your character helped drive the story somehow. No reason he shouldn't actually appear by name.
